As a Houston Wedding Photographer, I had the privilege of photographing Tiffany and Dennis’ wedding in the Outlook Room at Walden on Lake Houston on January 26, 2013. [Images will load below shortly.] At 4:45 in the afternoon, the wedding processional began with Dennis, the groom, and his best man, Will, walking up the aisle. They were followed by the officiant, Judge Davie Wilson. Then came Tiffany, the bride’s mother, escorted by the groomsman, Devin — Dennis’ nephew. Then Devin escorted the bridesmaid, Keira, up the aise. They were followed by the bridesmaid, Ta, escorted by the groomsman, Stuart. Then came the bridesmaid Sherron, escorted by the groomsman, John. They were followed by the bridesmaid, Tiffany, escorted by the groomsman, Michael.

After all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen had entered, the flower girl — Tiffany and Dennis’ daughter, Terri — escorted by the ring bearer, Jayden, walked up the aisle. After the congregation rose for the bride’s entrance, Dennis got to see his beautiful bride in her wedding dress for the first time, walking up the aisle.

After Tiffany and Dennis exchanged vows and placed rings on each other’s fingers, the couple kissed and then walked down the aisle as husband and wife.

After all of their family and friends congratulated Tiffany and Dennis in hallway just outside the Outlook Room, I went outside with the bridal party to take formal pictures on the beautiful golf course at Walden on Lake Houston, as the sun went down.

The sun had set when we re-entered the reception room. The DJ, DJ Gallo, then introduced the couples’ parents and the bridal party. After Tiffany and Dennis were introduced, the couple danced their first dance as husband and wife. After an hour of feasting on the fine cuisine prepared by the staff at Walden on Lake Houston, the reception began with Tiffany presenting a surprise tribute to her mother, Clara – a song sung by one of Tiffany’s closest friends. Both Tiffany and Dennis then walked over to Clara’s table to each give Clara a hug. The guests then watched a touching slideshow tribute that Tiffany had prepared to her late father.

DJ Gallo then turned the music down and the house lights up, and we pulled chairs out into the middle of the dance floor so that I could photograph pictures of both Tiffany and Dennis’ extended families.

Tiffany and Dennis then cut the wedding cakes – baked by Cakes By Amariah – and fed each other from both the bride’s cake and groom’s cake.

Before the reception ended, I took some final images of both Tiffany and Dennis with their parents and siblings’ families in the hallway just outside the Outlook Room. The reception ended at around 10:00 P.M.
